EVALUATE

CREATE.

my create process was the most challenging part of the whole project. I never thought that i would have a hard time doing the project. i could not decide what to do. At the end i decided to do a prezi and i feel that it came out good.

1. How can my learning serve my community?
This project has helped me learn how I can teach someone younger than me the design cycle. I can use this experience from this project, and apply it to other occasions. For example if someone asks me to teach them how to play an instrument, I can use my out line from the design cycle in order to do so. I feel I can teach someone older the design cycle the some way since my my prezi is simple enough that someone older can understand it.
2. How can your future projects become better?
My future projects can be better by me using the design cycle. I can use this process to have a well though out plan. A good project comes from having a plan of action and the design cycle is the best way to do it. I can see myself using the design cycle for other class projects. I like using the design cycle.
3. What have you learned about yourself and what you will continue to do or not do and why? I have learned that I am very disorganise. I am also a procrastinator. I will work on getting things done when they need to be done. I will also work on having a better organizing plan other than the design cycle. I also have to control my time talking with Carla. Lol

4. How do you feel about your final product? What would you rate yourself on the Rubric scale of 1-6 for each part of the Assessment Criterion? I feel well with my end product. I feel that my Prezi is very cool and interesting.I feel that 6th graders will enjoy having a cool and simple to understand guide line for the design cycle. I will have to rate myself a 5 I feel I did a good job, but I know that there is always room for improvement. I can work on some more design features, but i like my prezi.

5. What would you do differently in regards to your planning and execution of your plan? I will follow the design cycle with more care. I will work on having a better organized work time. I will work on having all my work done on time. I will work on following my plan with more understanding. I will execute my plan next time with a better structure.

Reflection

Based on my investigation from the past two weeks i am going to rate my self a 4. I have identified the problem and have search for information and have acknowledged the sources i have seen.  I have had some trouble with this project. I have at times been on task and working well, but at other times i have been in the black hole.  I have described the problem and have seen its relevance. although i have done all my work the quality of my work was not to its full potential.

design Cycle

Design part 1: my first plan is to create a digital representation of the design cycle.
Part 2: I will create several plans so i can have variety.

Design part 2: i will create

Monday, September 19, 2011

The them of my project will be to draw. I will be using art to demonstrate the process of the design cycle. I know art well enough that i feel i can explain the cycle more easily. I will try to demonstrate the process of drawing something using the design cycle. this will be a simple theme that  a six grader will be able to understand. i know that a six grader will like to know how to draw or paint using the design cycle.
The simplicity for my project will be very simple. i feel that using art. com will be  my best chose. i have seen the simplicity of using art.com and i am liking it. on the left side of the screen you can see how simple it is to use Art.com. Painting is very simple, the colors are all there, the size change is simple, and the undo is very simple.  i like it very much.
My creativity is awesome. i feel i have so much creativity that i will be able to create an amazing project that is simple enough that a six grader will be able to understand it very easily. I have a good idea of what i will do. I know that i want to show the process of painting or drawing. I have such a creative mind that i can do a project that is effective an simple enough that a six grader can understand it.
the popularity of my project will be awesome. i have an idea that will be effective but simple enough that a six grader can understand it. This will be cool for not only the six grader, but it can be used by a higher level student that would need help. They can use an see if it helps them understand it better when it is explained.

The theme of my project is to crate a digital representation to show the design cycle. Photo shop is an amazing tool that i can use, but i don't feel it is simple enough to create it. I believe that that my them of creating a visual rep. of the design cycle can be created using a simple tool. what i am looking for is for the drawing to be viewed as a time lap.
The simplicity of using photo shop is hard but it it cool. I have worked with photo shop very little, but i know that it does get confusing. I don't really like it to create this project, but i do like the options it gives me. i rated it a 3 because it didn't meet my requirements to haw easy i make it. I wold have given it a 4, but it does get too complicated at points.
The popularity of this tool is big. people love photo shop. Photo shop can be used in many ways. the reality is that using photo shop is very complicated for a young person like me.
